The Four Noble Truths
- To live is to suffer
- Suffering is caused by desire
- To rid suffering, rid the self of desire
- The path of ridding the self of desire is the Middle Way
The Eight fold Path
- Correct perspective - Without bias or self, neither idealistic nor cynical.
- Correct intent - Without self or self gain.
- Correct speech - Respond more than initiate, do not antagonize but enlighten, question with an articulate manner.
- Correct action - Endeavor synchronous harmonious response, and every action with purpose.
- Correct vocation - Better to do what you love and be poor that what you hate and be rich.
- Correct effort - Focus on task at hand eliminating wasted motion.
- Correct awareness - Be present, one mind not many minds.
- Correct concentration - Rid yourself of all superfluous thoughts eliminating wasted motion of mind.
